Luneta, Manila Ocean Park and Star City Tour

January 2, 2009, instead of having a party in the house, we've decided to tour my nephew on his 4th birthday at Luneta Park and Manila Ocean Park for a change. :D

Luneta Park is also known as Rizal Park ( previously called as Bagumbayan), situated in the midst of Manila's hustle and bustle of a concrete jungle.   Apart from its grassy expanse, Luneta also features planitarium, fountains, amphitheater, childrens playground, skating rink, Chinese and Japanese gardens, and the Orchidarium.

Visit this link for more information about Luneta Park.

liit pa ni kambo :D

Ice cream for sale :D

"A little trivia : Did you know that this flagpole located in front of Rizal monument is the kilometer zero?  Which means it is the starting point for all  measurements in distances in the Philippines."

After the expedition at Luneta Park, we headed to Manila OCean Park located at the back of Quirino Grandstand near Luneta Park.

My nephew wants to catch the sting ray (pagi)

We've also tried the fish spa.....nakakakiliti!

And the glass boat ride

Look at his smile...so big!

And because it's too early to go home yet, we dropped by at the Star City located near the PICC Complex, for him to experience the fun rides.
