Rodeo Masbateño Festival
Masbate is my father's hometown. And unfortunately, I've never been there so I'm including Masbate on my wish-list of places to travel next year.

I observed that I'm getting bigger(fat) after my interrupted pregnancy :(, so my husband and I decided to try eating sandwiches, pasta and wine on weekend (as long as we can :D). And this is what I've prepared :

Dinakdakan?
I've got curious the first time I've heard about this "dinakdakan" 'coz in tagalog "dinakdakan" means yelling or sermon. But when I've gone to Ilocos that's the time I've realized that dinakdakan there is a native dish. It's the counter part of "sisig" here in Manila.
Dinakdakan's recipe is a grilled pig's part (e.g. ear, tongue or liver) blended with pig's brain or mayonnaise.
