Summer time has started already in the Philippines. You can feel the warmth of the wind blowing in the early morning. It's now time to get your bikinis out of your closet and hit the beach! One particular event during summer is the Lenten Season, wherein our fellow Catholic brothers were deprived or abstain of eating meats. What if you crave for some pizzas during this season? Fret no more coz Angel's Pizza.Pasta.Combo is now serving Alici Pizza.
What is Alici Pizza? Alici pizza is the new range of pizzas from Angel's Pizza.Pasta.Combo especially made for Lenten season for this pizza has no meat at all. It is made of real anchovies (dilis), black olives (good for the heart and rich in fiber), tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. It comes in two crusts, the thick and thin crust that costs Php 556.00 for a big family sized pizza (14").

I am not a fan of anchovies in pizza, i love it roasted and served in breakfast with sinangag (fried rice) and tomatoes, oh so yummy! But as I tasted Alici, hmnnn...i love it though it tasted salty for me. :(
Other pizzas of choice are the Extra Feast, Php 599 for big family size (14"). It has pepperoni, ham, beef, chorizo, onion, mushroom, green pepper and mozzarella cheese. It has a chili after taste, and is good for people who love spicy foods. :)
