Chef's Quarter: Affordable Fine Dining Restaurant at SM Megamall

"Where the only thing expensive is your taste!"

It's our crusade to visit different kinds of restaurants every time we go out and watch a movie. In this particular day, we opt to visit Chef's Quarter Restaurant located at 3/f of SM Megamall atrium.  From the name itself, you can say that the dishes they serve have an excellent taste.   Chef's Quarter aims to deliver an eclectic dining experience with their Mediterranean inspired cuisine fused with regional favorites.

Bicol's Dish: Pancit Bato?

I've been to Bicol for I think third (3) times.  My first visit to Bicol was in Polangui, Albay way back 2008 together with my friends.  It was an awesome experience though we struggle so much just to get there.

Giant Mangoes from Cavite

I was born in the world where fruits are abundant, particularly mangoes.  I've seen different varieties of mangoes; Indian mango,Aapple mango, Piko and Kinalabaw.  But this is my first time to see mango this big!  I'm really amazed!  It's as big as the plate.  My problem is, I dunno its name.  Is there anyone out there who can tell me the name of this big mango?  I will appreciate it much! :)

By the way, it tastes like apple mango.  Not sour, not sweet tastes just right.

Spicy Chicken at Bon Chon, Megamall

Chicken is always on my menu lists. Because of that my friends and colleagues always teased me that I'll be having wings soon.  Speaking of Chicken, Bon Chon Chicken is a South  Korean-based fried chicken franchise restaurant. Their chicken is different compared to other fried chicken because it's being fried twice.  As a result, the skin becomes crunchier and less greasy.

Professional Quality Cutlery

Perhaps you are someone who truly loves to cook – you consider the kitchen your place to create culinary works of art. Each and every tool is selected with care from the poultry cutting shears you use to the knife block you store your cutlery in and every item is treated with the utmost care. For any professional chef cutlery represents perhaps the largest investment they will ever make in terms of cooking equipment so they buy the very best and they expect their cutlery to last for decades. As an amateur chef you also want the best; as such you should seriously consider investing in a Global® brand knifeset.

Yesterday, I heard that the lead star of Transformer, Shia Labeouf goes full frontal nude in a music video for an artistic interpretation of a Fjögur píanó by Alma Har’el taken from the “valtari mystery film experiment” - winner of Best Documentary Tribeca Film Festival.  Because of curiosity, I searched the video in you tube.
